Class Details
Spend a full day learning the fundamentals of rigid heddle weaving in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Together we will walk through every step of the process, from planning your project to warping the loom to weaving your first finished cloth. You will learn how to measure and tension a warp, dress the rigid heddle loom, choose yarns and colors, and weave with steady, even rhythm.
By the end of class, you will have a completed project (A set of mug rugs) and the confidence to continue weaving on your own. This is a relaxed, supportive environment designed to make your first weaving experience both successful and enjoyable!
Bring your own loom or use one of ours! We teach on 15" Schacht Cricket looms. If you are bringing your own loom, please let us know what you will be using. 2 hanks of yarn (Blue Sky Woolstok) are included…
